"The Techfiend", who occasionally answers to "Mark", lives in the Sacramento area. Mark has been a digital artist for over 12 years, and is the Director of Operations for his company, Techfiend Security & Usability Engineering. No Relation.

Mark's forays into traditional art fall primarily into acrylic on canvas pieces, with a lot of mixed media thrown in for good measure. A typical piece will usually begin with either the phrase "trust me, I know what I'm doing" or "ok, this will be SO cool". Thus far the house has not burned down, nor have any pets been harmed. The fire dept is on standby alert.

Delving into abstract, landscape and portraits, Mark primarily focuses on texture, the play of light and a sparity of color. We suspect he's lost some of his paint tubes, but he refuses to say.

Some of his pieces are currently in private collections (we actually suspect he's either misplaced them, or that the dog ate them), but some are available over at his portfolio, and more are added regularly.
